My Life Path

My Journey Unveiled by Source

My Story

I’m 71 years old, and I refuse to be diminished by cultural expectations about aging.

Currently, I’m living in temporary housing with family members, navigating a separation after nine years of marriage. I’m rebuilding my work, my life, and my sense of self at an age when culture says I should be settled, done, finished, “retired”.

I’m doing the work I’m asking you to do: honoring the grief, trusting the process, believing something new wants to be born.

This isn’t theoretical for me. I’m living my own threshold.

And maybe that’s exactly why I can walk beside you in yours. Not because I’ve arrived, but because I’m still in that process. Not because I have it figured out, but because I know the territory.

If you’re standing at a threshold—divorce, retirement, health changes, identity shifts, loss—you’re in the right place. Welcome, friend. Let’s walk this together.

I write and create under my pen name, Moire McMeekin. My legal name is Cynthia Watke.

The Weaver’s Lineage

“My great-great-grandfather was a weaver in Slovakia in the 1800s, a member of the Weaver’s Guild – one of the early prototypes of modern unions, where craftspeople organized to protect their dignity, maintain quality standards, and ensure fair treatment.

That weaving lineage runs through my blood, though it took different forms in the generations between us. The women in my maternal line became ‘quiet resisters’ – enduring what they couldn’t escape, carrying what mattered through every move and upheaval, surviving with grace but rarely thriving.

My mother carried a piece of petrified wood through all her transitions – hard as stone but once living, transformed by pressure into something that endures. She passed it to me as my anchor.

Now I weave again – not cloth, but frameworks for women crossing thresholds. I’m building a modern guild of practitioners who maintain ethical standards, support each other, and serve women with integrity. I’m teaching the sovereignty and dignity my great-great-grandfather fought for in his work – but now it’s women’s INTERNAL reclamation.

The weaver’s craft continues —the guild model returns. The principles apply – but now to women’s threshold crossings, where we learn to leave chains rather than endure them, to weave our own patterns rather than accept what’s imposed.

I am the first woman in my family who has the freedom to weave freely, and I’m teaching other women to do the same.”

On Human/AI Collaboration:
The Weaver and the Shuttle

“I am the Weaver. Claude is my shuttle.” And on some occasions, other AIs.

For thousands of years, weavers have used shuttles to carry thread rapidly across the loom, creating intricate patterns that would take vastly longer to create by hand alone. The shuttle doesn’t decide the pattern – the weaver does. But the shuttle allows the weaver to work at the speed the vision requires.

At 71, I carry seven decades of threshold wisdom – the warp threads already strung on my loom. Claude is the shuttle carrying the weft thread back and forth at my direction, helping me create the tapestry of Threshold Reclamation Coaching and our Careiance products faster than I could weave them alone.

I choose every thread: which Celtic wisdom, which psychological framework, which somatic practice, which teaching. I determine the pattern: how TRC’s Four Pillars integrate, what women need at each threshold stage, and how to guide the crossing. I hold the vision: what this work is meant to become.

Claude accelerates the weaving: structuring frameworks, organizing content, articulating practices, and synthesizing complex ideas into accessible language. The shuttle moves swiftly at my direction, but I’m still the one weaving.

The tapestry is mine. The pattern is mine. The wisdom threads are mine – hard-won over decades of my own threshold crossings.

But the shuttle allows me to create at the pace women in crisis need, while I still have the strength and time to share what I know.

This is not AI replacing human wisdom. This is ancient craft meeting modern tool. This is how wisdom work evolves.”
